Lucky little bugger...

...my son was one of the unfortunate kids who went with his school to Germany only to discover they were a part of the ticket scam - just come home and told me they have tickets for the England / Portugal game!!!!

I think after being conned by whichever lowlife scumbags did this, he deserves to go to something like that to make up for the disappointment. I hope that in the end he feels that he has come out on top.
I hope he has a great time and loves every minute.

To have seen his face when he came home was heart-wrenching to say the least - we paid for him to go and see any match, and he and all the others having been on the end of these w*$%ers have come up trumps - I hope the experience stays with him for ever - an England win would be much appreciated too!

Having just returned from a couple of games, I hope he has a great time. The German hospitality was incredibly warm and genuine.
The transport arangements in Germany were totally integrated and seemless, with reduced price tickets on the trains for those going to games, and free tram and bus links to the stadiums.
By comparison, we went to the England v Sri Lanka one day test the day after we returned, which is just down the road in Chester-Le-Street, and spent a couple of hours in traffic jams. I cannot say I am confident about the transport arrangements for the 2012 Games in London!

He is off early tomorrow, wife and eldest son both working which means it would be rude not to go to the pub with a few friends and watch it there - C'MON ENGLAND!!!!
