New Naim with old Naim

I am thinking of pairing up a 250 with a 112/Hicap? Do you think this is a better match than a 72?

I am using Epos14 right now.

Any opinions welcomed. Thanks.

I have used exactly that combination with very good results! Everything "got along" just fine. In fact I have a mixture of 3 generations of naim presently running in my set and it is wonderful.

Thanks for the replies. Just wonder how different are they when connected to a 250 with hicap, assuming the 72 is newly recapped?
