Forum Rugby Club - 2009-2010 Season

Well it's just about mid-July; the Lions have been, been cheated, and gone; so it must be time to start thinking about the new season. 
Lots of new faces in most GP clubs, plus of course Leeds now. (Cockers running Leicester, Deano running Quins, Backie running Leeds - these Tigers get everywhere!
) And of course Tigers are looking forward to giving out the usual mauling, but this season with a brilliant new stand and a new home kit (to be launched on 24th July). Sorry Sharlene, I'm spending my clothing allowance on that, not some bloomin' Naim T-shirt...!

Actually I think it was Dan Cole today, although I agree Tom Payne has no place in an international team.
Slightly off-topic but York under 12s won the Yorkshire Cup in their age-group recently - Svetty junior being one of the ever-presents this season

Tight game between Saints and Wasps with a nice drop goal from Myler to upset the Wasps meaning if the Irish beat Sale tomorrow Wasps are out of the top four.Mind you Wasps were quite convincing and i thought they were going to pip Saints at the post

Me too. I missed the most of the game as I went out but kept up with the live score on the phone.
I thought we had them on the rack during the first part of the game I watched.

Intelligence is a much undervalued attribute in ball games these days. I hope he is not put off.
Perhaps if all the players except the two front rows [of course ]were built like your lad [more guile and finesse] we might just see a more exciting game, rather than hitting the opposition at full tilt which usually results in injury
