B&W 805 Signature and Bi-Wiring

Posted by: rorominator on 30 November 2003

Hi everybody,

I use not to biwire my 805S.

First question : would it better to bi-wire them with Naim electronics ?

Second question : If I "just" single-wire them, which jumpers should I use ? Those provided with the speakers (short length cable B&W brand) ? short length of NACA5 ? Any other idea ?

Thanks for your replies.

Use the Naim cable to replace the jumpers and keep the single wriring configuration. Your 135s are more than enough to drive those speakers.

Use single NACA5 with F-connection for the binding posts of the B&W. There is no better solution.

so I'll keep single-wiring with F-connection.

Roro,

While bi-wiring bay not be the way to go with these speakers, bi-amping certainly is. I had a pair for a little while with 4x135s, fantastic grip and drive if you can afford it.
