'Vinegar Joe' CD - Beware

'Six Star General' is an old favourite, that I have on vinyl.

Imagine my delight when I saw that it had been released on CD. 'Lemon Recordings' turned out to be very accurate.

The recording (I use the word loosely!) is blatantly lifted from a knackered vinyl LP.

We are talking obvious, surface noise, mis-tracking or wear distortion AND audible wow!

You have been warned!

Was this taken from the original album which was mastered at the wrong speed? I've got the Edsel reissue Vinyl which sounds excellent and was mastered from the original tapes at the correct speed.
