Go for it, Simon. I'll take a look now and again.
The only people I've ever followed are Brad Wiggins and Lance Armstrong during the Tour de France. Quite Interesting, as someone might say. Armstrong is famously an old hand at it, but it was Wiggo's first time, and he was pretty funny.
I can't ever see myself doing it, but it's all good fun.

Twittering is wot sparrows and brain dead sub-normal compulsive sms'ing teenagers do.
Its too complicated and not required for us grown ups.
Like BigH47, same answer - that's a BigNO
But if it helps your label sales, go for it, but I will keep to my steam powered www forum for "Naim News"

I have used it a bit, mainly Brad Wiggins - it doesn't float my boat the way Facebook does - I love Facebook :-)

interesting chaps, thanks. i can't really see what good it does, other than for people who expect to be listened to, but dont want to listen!....people like pop stars and radio one DJs (Moyles) I spose.
oh well...gotta get with the times.
myspace is still front runner for promoting music. so it is a shame in a way they couldn't keep up with facebook in terms of ease of use and inter-activity. cos myspace kept people an ickle bit closer to the music they love (and an inch closer to buying it!).
what I REALLY am excited about is setting up a proper wordpress blog on new music - an interactive one that you guys can chip in on, month on month.

I think Facebook is a disorganised pile of poo.

I have an account but don't bother with it.
FaceBook is another story, I have a lot of fun with my friends on it. There are a number of stupid "games" that I don't play, but it was a great asset when we organized our high school class reunion recently.
No, I'm not a kid. No, it's not too complicated.
Yes, it can be squirrelly (sp?).
Not sure that FB or Twatter would compel me to buy anything Naim, but I'm already in the camp.

Perhaps a Naim Twitter Room would remove some of the noise from the main body of the forum.
Twitterers could then re redirected to a more suitable place.

Is it doggie doo or human excrement?

yeah I have arranged all sorts on FB and got back in touch with folk I had lost touch with....love the quizzes too and the silly things like 'What 5 cars would you have in your garage' - nonsense like that...... don't use the chat thing tho... agree that it hasn't got the ability to find and play new or old music the way myspice does. I find I use myspice for searching out new artists and Bookface for friends and nonsense and generally being sociable.

I have to assume human, but it is so bad it could have been written by a dog.
