Caught young Mr Mason live on Thursday, what a voice this young man has.
I would highly recommend both of his albums.

Whilst on the American singer song writter scene I would also recommend Brett Dennen, beautiful words and music. Again well worth a listen.

The Brett Dennen came out early last year but it flopped so they have re-released it again with a bit more of a push this year. Don't know if they altered the sound on the disc like they do on some. Sometimes if the company reckons the artist should be huge and the first album bombs then they remix the first disc for a "re-release".

Willy Mason, he is one of those artists I will end up buying as I know he is great but just can't quite get into him at the moment. Haven't heard his second disc yet.

If you like the singer songwriter type thing then Freddie Stevenson is pretty good, kind of a modern Al Stewart.

As for Mr Mason's second album, I actually prefer it to the first but think they are both pretty damn fine.
