That's a good excuse to get down the pub and have a pint of real English ale, mines a London Pride or maybe some Bishops Finger.

Cheers Everyone.

Dear Fred!
I think i'm goin to slip right over my bed.
My neck burns and my hands shake.
Time for holidays?

Gianluigi,

Forget Berlin. Go somewhere nice, quiet and restful with only a few people! I could enjoy a holiday in Norway, just now, but it is a bit too cold at least till May! Fred

For the record Shakespeare. Winker

Or, at least, and to open one huge can of worms, that is the conventional spelling. One of the best jokes in No Bed for Bacon (a wonderful novel by Caryl Brahms and SJ Simon, which was shamefully plagiarised by the original writers Shakespeare in Love), was regarding the fact that Shakespeare almost always seemed to spell his name differently. Which, to open yet one further can of worms, only helps to fuel those conspiracy theorists who contend that the plays were, in fact, written by somebody else.

regards, Tam

From the dept. of fishing accessories: I thought there were many spellings of Shakespeare's name(I remember Shaxberd), but his signatures mentioned only Shakspere or Shakspeare.

Hi Fred!
I did sleep it to top.
Norway!
Deep spaces, the sun in summer shine in the very far landscape thin line..........................
I remember Denmark and the smell of the sea while having beers at the docks.

Last nignt my good friend and i were listening to some Steve Reich's records and wondering about the influence of nature, architecture, general culture in artists' inspiration.
Reich, Sokolov, Part................
I think the more our world become covered with cement, cars and garbage and intoxicated by pollution the less high inspirated artists we'll have.
It's a shame that the man in the street can't still feel the urgent need of a deep, inspirated caress and let himself go down to primary impulses.
Did we really have an evolution?
I think no.

Hey, Fred!
If you pass by Italy just let me know.
I have a guest room and good wine to share for friends!

Chaps

Cecil Rhodes once said, " If you have been born an Englishman you have won the Lottery of life".

Absolutely bloody true.

It is good to see a revived interest in St Georges Day and long may it continue.

Gianluigi

For goodness sake, take some time away from your PC, your eyeballs will explode if you keep this lot up.

Regards

Mick

Months.
Years?

Jokes apart i do loose my interest in the civilized world and sitting here listening to music, learning and gathering informations is probably some of the best things to do around.
Smile
I promised to myself i want to die listening to music.
The matter is that i'm still tryin' to decide which record!
Smile
Cheers Mik!

Ps: how are things with your new guitar?

Funnily enough people in the 16th century generally couldn't spell. Even including some of the most learned people of the time. A lot of it was done with a heady mixture of ignorance, phonetics and lack of care whether things were spelled correctly or not. A bit like on Web forums nowadays. The first English dictionary didn't appear for another 200 years either so you can see how such confusions come about.
