(note for Adam... i humbly request you to please amend typo on Topic-line, Jayhwaks!-Jayhawks & pd this request... Thnak you so much! : )

Hello dsteady,

i must be a Jayhawk fan having 3 of their albums... "Hollywood Town Hall", "Tomorrow the Green Grass" and "Smile" purchased almost a decade ago they kind of picked me up at a time when i was feeling low. They are imho a very pleasant rock band.

Looking on amazon, Ready for the flood is getting many 5-star reviews!

Thanks for the heads up on 'Olson and Louris'... now on my vinyl wishlist! ; )

If You like Hollywood Town Hall I think you'll like this. It is an older, mellower album, probably maybe wiser too. Chris Robinson produced it.

Good to find another Jayhawks fan here, they are a too often overlooked band.

I saw them in concert - The Union Chapel, Islington, London - in the last couple of months - an acoustic set with just the two of them and an Icelandic woman on percussion. Great show.

Naim_nymph, if you liked those three albums may I suggest you try Sound of Lies which I reckon was their peak output (that and Tomorrow the Green Grass are my favourites).

I'll try to get hold of the new album on vinyl - thanks for the tip dsteady.

Bought the CD on Saturday but haven't had toime to give it a good listen yet. Good to hear they are working together again, even if it is jsut a one off.

"I'd Run Away" off Tomorrow The Green Grass" is a fantastic song...
