FM vs XM or Sirius

Can anyone comment on the quality of FM vs the satellite services? I've been thinking about purchasing a FM tuner but perhaps going with satellite radio would make more sense.

I was thinking the same thing...

I use XM in the car. I have not listened to fm while driving in I think, about a year. XM just has way to much to choose from and sounds SO MUCH BETTER THAN FM(in the car) it is unbelievable!
If you are thinking of puting the receiver in the house do not connect it to the Naim gear.
The noise from the supply in the receiver will just make it all sound very bad. For me, unless Naim can come up with a new P.S. for the device, there is no way I would do it.

As you know,XM has some stand alone items that would allow you to enjoy the programing in the house.

I think the Satellite music guys have got the jump on the music and the whole programing thing. ITS JUST SO ENJOYABLE!!

At home I use the 01 with the XPS2-T...This combonation is just the finest I have ever heard. If only FM could do what the XM guys are doing, It would be nervana..

Thanks for the info! I'd want a product that connects to my Naim Gear so it sounds like the technology isn't ready for that yet.
