Lit cd - plays improperly?

Posted by: Twelveeyedfish on 15 May 2003

In the days before I was enlightened I had a meridan 602 cd transport. I recall there being a musical intro before track 1. Admittedly this made the 602s timer spew some sort of Hex onto the display but it did play it.

Now... the CD3.5 doesn't play it at all! It kicks into Four.

Admittedly the intro wasn't too inspiring but I am beginning to miss it now.

Was I just imagining it? I'm really sure it existed. I remember playing it on the guitar!

Any input would be appreciated... I want to hear it again!

Also... how do you guys lose your puck? I've never lost mine nor can I see how you would. Still prevention is better than cure.

"I recall there being a musical intro before track 1."

On which CD?

And the puck is lost when it comes off - usually because it is off-centre - and flys into the machine. Of you open the drawer, you will see that the drawer does not have 'sides' all of the way around. If it did have sides all the way around, it would be difficult to get your fingers on the edges of a CD to remove it.

Thanks,

I see about the puck - I was under the impression it was because it was possible to put it on in some strange way. Perhaps then it will happen eventually!

As for the CD, it's "A place in the sun," their first offering

I choose to ignore the second one! I'm not it's biggest fan - but of course noone else can read my mind! (isn't that the superman theme!)

Incidentally - do you/anyone know what the drawer is made from. Apparently not steel! Makes no difference really, but just curious!

Thanks for your reply
