Got given a copy recently and it hasn't made the car CD yet. Let us know what you think.

I've had it for a month or so. It was the first of his that I bought, now I have them all, but this one is my favorite. Sound great on my CD5i. :-)

Agreed, sounding very good on the system. One the whole family foot tap to. Any other Jack johnson recommendations?

I got all his five records (including the Curious George album! Big Grin ), In Between Dreams is clearly my favorite in all of them. I warmly recommend it to you all.

On And On is also very nice, and feel like In Between Dreams is a logical suite for it.

I bought that a year ago - Naim was using it as one of the demo recordings at the 2005 NY audio show. Nice record.

'In Between Dreams' is OK, but as far as I'm concerned, a pale shadow of the consistently wonderful 'On and On'.

I heard a friend's 'Black Eyed Peas' CD the other day, and realised that it contains a 'rapped-up' version of 'Gone' from 'On and On'.

And to reiterate Chayro's comment about the sound quality - it is indeed superbly clean and transparent. As ever though; a USA made copy sounds considerably better than the EU made version.

Hi John,

I've had "In Between Dreams" in the car for a week now and I find it pretty bland. Is "On and On" any more interesting?

I like them both, but if you don't like In Between Dreams you probably won't like On And On either.

Which is a shame. I could not make my mind up, did I admit to liking this man and his music, or was it just another puffed-up surf waster marketed into my life?

After the first run through of "In-between Dreams" I find the quality of the recording and the tunes absolutely delightful.

Jono

P.S. the nippers love it too, which is nice.

Jono,

The quality of the recording is not in doubt and there are some nice tunes.

There is nothing there to offend, but nothing much to inspire either?

Just not my thing I guess.

Steve.
