What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)
Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005
Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.
So, what are you listening to right now?

Mid-day Kodaly. Janos Starker's cello playing here is superb.

Pure magic...

I was right.

Mozart piano concertos 9 and 17 from Serkin (showing his age slightly) and the LSO under Abbado.
Some contemporary classical music from Thomas Ades, with Life Story.
And just now, Brahms' German Requiem from Jochum and the Bavarian Radio Orchestra.
