What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)
Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005
Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.
So, what are you listening to right now?

Gian my friend,
These days anything above zero is considered spring which is also a perfect time for playing some classical music...

I got this as soon as it came out, and remember thinking, what have they done???
Probably first time I've played it since I got my Naim - think it's a bit of a grower - only taken seven years!

Two personal favorites. Good stuff.
Mark, in your profile it lists Grado 325i and Micro Utopia Be - is the balance of sound similar? I love the balance of the sound spectrum on my 325i, but comfort can be an issue. Have not heard a Be tweeter used by Focal and Usher - curious on your thoughts.

My first play, (and listen to PT), they certainly know how to rock but i need to in a particular mood to appreciate this style of music and right now i'm clearly not.
But for rock this is classy stuff. (I even like the grungy bits)
Do they perform any 'Happy' style music or is it all this dire? : )
