What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

Great album my friend (i trust you are well). The performances have a crackling vitality to them which reminds me of Niel Diamond's 'Hot August Night' and a tint of Dylan's free style jam from his Rolling Thunder tour.

Arrived in the post this morning, just giving it's first airing whilst Mrs s and miss S are at the movies watching Hannah Montana 3D. I know what I'd prefer to be doing.

If Volume 3. Introduced to me by one of the older gents that I play 5 a side with. Some interesting stuff, although it is not difficult to date when the music was made.

Regards

Nic
