What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

Fantastic, two like minded souls jammin and having a laugh. When they're talking between tracks you can hear that Stevie is slightly in awe of Albert. Really showed his humility.

Hi,

If you are not using the SACD layer, you might like to get the CD and compare. I sold the dual layer.....pronto.

First listen to

Second "unusual" adaptation of Schubert's Winterreise sung by Christoph Pregardien. this time with woodwinds and brass, and ... accordion. The other version I have is an orchestral version conducted by Zender. Both highly recomended.
