What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)
Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005
Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.
So, what are you listening to right now?

Stefan,
buy on the same basis as Wayne Shorter - I share your views about some of the recent albums, but this is a cracker!

Taste were an excellent band. Saw them live a couple of times, the last time on their final tour, at Guildford Civic Hall. Rory came on from one side of the stage and the other two from the other and they left the same way. In the middle they played a blistering setwithout exchanging a glance or a word!!
Cheers

Excellent stuff. Most of Bowyers not yet completed Bach cycle is worth a listen. Besides the one Nime mentions, I would especially recommend Bowyers Clavierübung III and his Art of Fugue.
