What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

Gianluigi,
thanks for The Nightmares on Wax - Smoker's Delight recommendation. picked it up yesterday - love it. some of their techniques also remind me of this - the album that got me into electronica:

Kuma,
thanks for The Dzian & Kamien Orch. - Live in Vienna recommendaion. i picked it up last week. great live album - they don't miss a beat. Dmitri from Paris is on the radar for tomorrow.

I'm sorry for the "JPC affaire" because you told me about that.
Of course and with no regrets this thing is nobody's fault and couldn't be differently.

Many of DJ kicks release are great.
Unfortunatley, I can't play any of their records tho, since most of them are 45s. Confused

Kuma,
i will put that one in the basket as well. naim serves up electronica very well. i am so glad i stuck it out with the intro2s, trying to integrate the bass, rather than ditching them for some smaller standmounts - headphones still rule though! the intro2s punch the funk hard, tight and juicy, and never misses a beat...even with a Basis TT. i can also flick to 45s in under 5 secs Smile.
