What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

Both of the CDs belong to my son, we had joint listening session.

Paco de Lucia - Fuente y Caudal. Version I have is out of print so no picture, except the shimmering haze of El Andaluz that I see before me.

tonite:

dusko goykovich - Samba Do Mar: Mellow tunes in spades
Alex de Grassi - Southern Exposure: Maybe my first (for sure amongst the first five) CD way back from when Windham Hill was still alive and kicking. Not really bad, even after 80 years. Or more ?
Holly Cole - Temptation: Night cap with strange(ish) versions of Tom Waits songs

nighty night
