What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)
Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005
Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.
So, what are you listening to right now?

One of my favourites. Very moving. Dawn Upshaw makes this a cut above other recordings imo.

Gianluigi,
I rented Koyaanisqatsi and powaqqatsi on DVD but my local DVD emporium had not heard of Anima Mundi. I wondered if it would have been tacked onto one of the above DVDs but sadly no.

Cracking album Gianluigi - came very close to powering up the turntable yesterday to test the speakers with this. There's stereo and then there's WYWH!

And what about this?

I remember my first stereo set's speakers giving life while following the flood!

Great!
Cheers!

Paul Simon - You're the One
some beautiful effortless music here.
Pigs sheep and wolves has such a easy nonchalance about it.
a low key classic.
