What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)
Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005
Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.
So, what are you listening to right now?

Kraftwerk "The Man-Machine". I'm going to a concert with them in Oslo tomorrow, and I'm warming up
. They're known to be an amzing live-band so I think at least it will be very interesting!

Yes, I love this stuff, too.
And his long version of LIKE A HURRICANE on the WELD album is absolutely stunning!

Last night I'd had a week of recovery from an operation. Better now after a week, but I didn't want to see or hear anything about the middle east or those ####ing Republicans in the white house. About 5:30 I started with Steely Dan's Royal Scam, Then Paul Simon's Mother and Child Reunion, Joni Mitchell's Ladies of the Canyon then Hissing of Summer Lawns. And last but not least, Rickie Lee Jones' first album, self titled.
Ah, that was a good night of relaxing, well played and recorded music. Still couldn't sleep worth a damn tho.

Peter.
Abraham is Sussex born Rachel Cuming, and her style is simimlar to the likes of Zero 7, Goldfrapp, Dido etc.
This one in particular is 'Magpie', a remixed track from the album 'Blue For The Most'.

I did forget how hard was painting walls.
Every single piece of muscle i have hurts.
And the cervical burns.
Need some tonic!
