What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

And now for something completely different Big Grin. Darkthone "A Blaze in the Northern Sky". A classic Norwegian black metal album from the early 90's. Lo-fi stuff..., but atmospherical.

Three Haydn Symphonies are seeing me off to the land of nod tonight.

93 in D has just ended, and soon to follow will be 99 in E Flat - my favourite symphone by any composer - and to finish of the Military, which follows on just for a good bit of fun among the serious parts!

Concertgebouw Orchestra with Colin Davis.

All change but no change, if you see what I mean, and you may, if you look in the Hifi Room! Well in a manner, as I am pleased as punch, with a new less resplendent little amp!

Sasha - Avalon Los Angeles CA 24/06/06.

Get it quick, it's a limited edition of 10,000! Worth it for the AWESOME mix of Colder's 'To the Music' alone.

My friend have the vinyl at home but he forgot to bring it here!
