What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)
Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005
Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.
So, what are you listening to right now?

The new album from Madeline Peyroux. Similar to the last one and not a bad effort

costello,
What do you think Vasary's style?
Hi Kuma,
Sorry, but I'm only a novice when it comes to classical music. But I like this music, and Vasary seems to do a good job...

Best Regards

Rolling Stones "Exile On Main Street". This should be their masterpiece, but for ME it is the most overrated album in history. Probably it would have sounded different if I had heard it in 1972. It is still good, of course, but I think it lacks the fantastic songs of the Rolling Stones albums I love the most. These are "Sticky Fingers", "Let It Bleed", "Beggars Banquet", "Aftermath", "Singles Collection - The London Years" ++.

Yes.
Let it bleed is one of their more "rolling" albums.
