What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)
Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005
Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.
So, what are you listening to right now?

I have seen Stanko quartet, 2 weeks ago, and it was a very enjoyable evening. I guess it could be a bit venue dependant, though...
Go there, if you can.
cheers

Dear Haim!
The car is doing fine and the driver is tasting some good relaxing driving.
Just one thing: i think i'll soon change the stereo set!

Heavy rain here instead.
We have had a very sweet september and there are good news about the new wine.
I think we'll have another hard winter and lots of snow.
But i think now i'll have to take my restauring job under the porch.
No problems.
Varnish will dry up anyway!

Good evening!

Yes Haim.
Autumn is here.
I like to see the leafs under the trees.
It's time to take the small houses out from the garage.
The migrants will be here soon.
And i have to go and take some hay to fill the manger in the wood for winter.
Deers and chamoises expect the same menu this year!

Mr. Wilson must get prepared to spend many hours inside home looking from the window!

Costello,
It is amazing how Satie was able to compose such 'simple' music which anyone could play at home, and still make it sound so magical.
I have Jean Yves Thibaudet playing those pieces.

Mercan Dede - Breath
Dear Steve,
How do you find this album? I have heard one song from it (from the latest Songlines magazine)and I found it very interesting! I have also heard the "SU" album by Mercan Dede, and I absolutely liked it. But I'm even more curious about "Breath, the last album in his trilogy.
