What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)
Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005
Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.
So, what are you listening to right now?

Huston!
We have a problem!
The holes in the frame that hold the tweeters lost their thread and screws don't have a grip.
Will i sleep tonight?
I've already found a couple of bolts to help, but i could not find the words to tell my friend how sorry i am.
Just a try but i think i'll have to mail Naim to see if there's a new frame i can buy to change the old one.
A very long day.................................

Talk about *stressful* week/weekend.
Note my typo.
I think I have just enough brain cell left to operate a record player.

Felt like hearing some KJ solo work, but stranded with this (sonically challenging, but the energy level of that Eurpoean Quartet is outstanding) :

A brand new morning for all!
After some hours spent in knees to fix the SBLs problems i'm home and relaxing a bit.
And some from my favourite.
Another performance.

Superb album - although I think This Is The Ice Age is possibly even better.

Music from the man who inspired some of the greatest acts of today. If you haven't listened to some Dowland lately then you really should.
Roft,
Can you be more specific about those great acts?

Haim
