What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

Gianluigi,

Not a classic for either Kenny Burrell or John Coltrane, but one that gets the occasional airing here as well. If you like Burrell, I could suggest a few others for you as I've got a loads of his stuff. As for Coltrane there is a lot to choose from!!!!

The one you had with you yesterday?
Posted on: 16 November 2006 by BigH47
Yes Chris. Not a bad disc it has some non LR written tracks Boss City from Wes Montgomery,Blue in Green (Mile Davies) and Papa was a Rolling Stone. A pretty standard Ritenour album.

Have you come across Leo Kottke? I think you might enjoy his stuff too.

His solo stuff is quite underrated, this one is only bettered by Rattlesnakes.
