What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

Munch

I absolutely agree, have you tried any of his live stuff or 'Sketches for my sweetheart the drunk'. I've found Grace so perfect an album I almost don't want to dilute my view of him by delving further in case of disappointment. I think Gianluigi rates 'Sketches'.

Diccus,

Some nice picking, easy to see the Nick Drake influence.

Have you stopped picking musical fights with your mates yet, or is that one still rumbling on? I was going to jump in and help you, but you seemed to be able to handle yourself Winker

Are you back in the house yet, if so did the rewire make any difference?

Regards

Nic

I've decided it's time to have a go at my inbox of cd's.

Although this one is highly rated by many here among us, it is doing very little for me. Just isn't involving me emotionally or rhythmically.

Back in the house first week in December so haven't tried my fancy 10mm wiring job yet. Probably won't have a clue how to put my naim system back together never mind anything else.

Picking fights with my friends is all done in good humour, we have known each other for hundreds of years and know our boundaries. I sent a further reply, not sure if i copied you in, will resend, please feel free to contribute. Smile

we never did get that pint. Next year should be easier.
