Forget all her pop stuff - these are Cuban/latin 'standards' done brilliantly. If you have any rhythm in your soul at all, I defy you to not enjoy it. And some of the playing is brillant too.

"Golden heart" Mark Knopfler. A great album to iron to!

Dear Munch,

It is Meddle. As I said above rather unbalanced - some good tracks, the final one is extraordinary (a 23 minute piece called Echoes) and some that I don't really get on with at all. Dating from 1971, it falls between Relics and Oscured by Clouds (which is one of my favourite Pink Floyd albums).

It is a close up of someone's ear. It extends to both sides of the gatefold sleeve on the vinyl version.

"Uncovered" Tony Joe White. A great album by another of the fine Southern growlers.

That Meddle gatefold sleeve was always popular for preparing the accompanying home-rolled herbal cigarettes, as I recall.
