What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)
Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005
Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.
So, what are you listening to right now?

Loreena McKennitt - The Visit. CD. I am getting quite hooked on her.Scotish/Canadian with a dash of World music. Enchanting.

warming up with a cup of joe with one of my all time fav albums. i'm on the hunt for a newer remastered version.
hey Haim,
my thermometer in the back yard said -5 F this a.m., but the cruel joke is that we have none of that glorious snow you guys received. how about sending some up north aways for us snow junkies; i'm jonesin' for a ski and some hard-water fishing.

Paul Brady - Hard Station.
A fantastic album. "Nothing but the same old story" still makes the hairs on my neck stand up while "Night-hunting Time" hits the nail on the head just brilliantly. I'd forgotten just how wonderful a record this is.

getting the pulse racing early on a wet and windy Sunday morning.
A wonderful album from a fantastic band, Fighting is often overlooked in the Lizzy cannon, but I would have it in their top 5 albums.
along with
- Live and Dangerous
- Jailbreak
- Renegade
- Bad reputation
