What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)
Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005
Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.
So, what are you listening to right now?

Just received my copy of
today, and can't believe:
Wow, my top-10 of the year have been screwed up again...
cheers
Stefan

today, and can't believe:
- How incredibly well recorded this is (I have to out myself, here - but not ALL Naim CD's are to my liking w/r to the recording quality and
- how great their musical symbiosis (or should this be cymbiosis ?) is. Having only the "Live" CD with Forcione (and now also the one with Sciubba, but haven't heard that, yet), I was afraid that he would show off and kill that duo thing. He doesn't. He's so damn quiet, it almost hurts your ears. A PERFECT match to Haden's "humble" appearance. Haden is my hero, anyway, so this fits SO well together

Kuma,
I am trying to keep pace with you, only 7000 posts behind you, and failing miserabely.
I am no good.
