What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

Haim,

My weekend is just not over yet. Smile

Kuma,

I am glad that your weekend is much longer than mine, but that does not mean that you cannot end it too with Further Attempts...

This 1989 piano trio recording is one of the all time favorites of my NAIT 3. Your 555 would love this album.

Now, for the holidays season, all MA Recordings discs are selling for $12-$14 and I cannot imagine any better music or sound for that kind of a price.

Why don't you try some, Kuma?

Larry,

I think that his piano trios are magical too. I just heard his wonderful Trio no 1 in concert and I am still trying to hunt down the disc.

How did you find Uncommon Ritual? Common, or Uncommon?

Regards,

Haim
