What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)
Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005
Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.
So, what are you listening to right now?

Kuma,
yes, awesome stuff.
movin' on...
a classic groundbreaking album that ushered/defined the Dub genre. i have the 04' remastered version. the liner notes say that they remastered using only the best analog copy available (the master is MIA) with tubed electionics, and eschewed any digital manipulation/"correction".

Hi Graeme
Wow - I'm not going to come between Man & Wife over Christmas presents! Thank you dear that is excellent is what I would say - to my simple mind the album is good in patches but it is very patchy!

For the next couple of months, or so:
The complete Bach on 155 CD's. Definitely some gems, and a lot of mediocre stuff, in the box. For reference, though, it's a great set !
cheers
