What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

Hi Munch!
Thanks for tip!
My friend and i just gathering some titles for a "big bag" order.
I'll put in in!

Did you see the "Editors" pic?
The band takes me back to the golden era of English "rough" bands.
There's a cd+dvd concert edition around.
Worth the money!
Cheers!

A bit of fun - Enzo Avitabile & Bottari "Let's save the world."

Earlier, the best of the Mekons; Carla Bruni; Monty Alexander live at Montreux and Quadrophenia (a blast from the past to remind that some things should stay there and not constantly be recycled)

After Ravel's piano concert in G (Grimaud) on the radio, it's John Cage's "complete music for prepared piano" on CD.

cheers

Wasn't particularly impressed the first time I heard this but like it more it more on review. Elements of Delores O'Riordan, Bjork, PJ Harvey but with an Antipodean feel. Particularly like the track 'Swim'.
