What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

Differnt composer, differnt weather. It was snowing real hard during Chopin and now, with Bach, the sky is blue and the bright sun is re-introducing shadows again.

I guess that what happens with lake affects. The weather is more temperamental than the wife...

A real change of pace! The "Mojo presents Sgt. Pepper" CD, which was with this month's issue.
It's actually quite intriguing!

If they would grade music by penetration power (into soul), just like they do with military munition (penetration into steel), this one would come on top.

The Mojo Sgt Pepper is patchy but definitely interesting. Will definitely get another play here!
