What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

Hi Geoff,
Yes it is good, but is only 27mins long.
My favourite at the moment is - Sinatra At The Sands - again with Count Basie, this is 72mins long.
I am about to order Sinatra/Basie's 1st recording together - Sinatra-Basie: Historic Music First - all on the Reprise label.
IMHO i think the Reprise recording years, were Sinatra's best.
Hope this info is of some help.
Regards

I could try to record my "haaaaaaaaaa" everytime i do stand up, edit them and sell the lot as a new kind of ambient music.
We could call the "Elderly Brothers Social Club"!

Well it's easy for him, he can just move to Arizona and join the wrinkley's.
