What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

84 tracks - from throughout Shirley's career with lots of unavailable elsewhere stuff (about half of it); the earliest tracks are from 1964. Absolutely wonderful.

Patty Griffin "Children Running Through"

Just received her brand new cd from the US of A. Only played it twice but is promising to be one of her best. Again great music from Patty Griffin, she deserves more attention.
