What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)
Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005
Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.
So, what are you listening to right now?

It was Wobbler - Hinterland, which came today. They're Norwegian and they play old-school prog without pomposity but with loads of keyboards - especially mellotron - and on first listen it's gong to be a good one. The samples don't really do them justice as most of the CD is taken up with three loooong tracks. Shame about the crap name though.
That's put me in mood for Porcupine Tree - Coma Divine.

Gian my friend,
No, I do not have this music and I noticed that you have been posting it quite often.
I will make a point to listen to it soon. Recently I have been playing a lot of French Composers music.
Thank you,
Haim

Ciao Haim!
The record is a series of little pictures and all of them bring an atmosphere in it.
A little nice masterpiece at my ears.
Cheers!

Espers II
available in CD and Vinyl. It's rumered that if the disc is played on a CD555, while you relax on your favourite toadstool with eyes closed, the espers group emurge with morning mist and perform live in the leafy confides of your own audiotorium ~

Listening to adagio assai. LOve this piece.
Corey,
I'll try to track it down!
I've a lot of classical pieces on vinyl ( recently scored Martha Algerich! ), but not much symphonic works.
