What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

That's interesting - there are lots of Christy albums - just noticed Ride On is under £5 from Amazon and it's dated as if it is a new release so perhaps it's a re-master: if so that's a real bargain. I paid double that for my old copy and I still think it was great vfm.

Just gone through
- A-ha's 'Hunting High and Low'; thin sound at points but a classic, classic album
- Snow Patrol Eyes Open; managed the first couple of tracks before the treacle-like production and sound moves me on
- to Faithless; To All New Arrivals.....a delight - including a great Smiths's riff for the fans!

Fresh arrival.
