What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

bob James Trio: Straight Up

Haim,

I haven't gotten into Schuman's work yet, but I would give it a shot if it's played by Michelangeli.
I like his style of playing so far.

Erm, gone... Frown

I'm not finished with all the Quad story, and in fact I have bought them, after I had them in my house. A coupel of days ago, I have brought them back, now. I will need more time and more comparison. Both are not available, currently...

After reading Ian's comments I took a flyer and ordered the CD. Really pleased I did. I like a lot after the first listen.

Hi Graham!
Sorry to say but it's a disappointment.
My friend and i passed some time comparing this to old albums and after the first listenings i see the flaws.
Btw can't help beeing in love with her voice.
