What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

Bunch of fresh grime twelves - currently Slew Dem Crew's Bumbaclaat Badman. Has a stellar line up - Wiley, Skepta, Esko, Kronik - and it's great, but a bit short.

Roll Deep's last mix tape later.

It wasn't her lyrics that had me transfixed!! Eek

C'mon Peter, give me a break - at least let me for a moment try to think of the other kind of profound feeling evoked by a top-of-her-game Sade! Big Grin

It was a very nice foxy suit though...Winker

You might be interested in the Editors video of All Sparks from Pete Townshends In The Attic last summer. Very impressive I must say; looking forward to their new album.

Hi Denis!
Very good, thank you!
My friend's copy of the album brings a DVD with some tracks live.
Very good energy.
When the new one will be out?

Jono - I was asking myself the same question when listening. It is usually Super Discount I put on and I think that is because it has more variety than Tempovision, but listened again I would say it is pretty good. £6.98 at amazon.
Steve

And now (and this is pretty good too!)

I thank you, but my bank account won't!

Have got Pocket Symphony yet? If not it is well worth a punt.

I was disappointed by Talkie Walkie, even at the 3.99 I paid for it. Is Pocket Symphony any better??

Now that sounds like one great record. I don't have it myself, but with Dabsong Conshirtoe from Cunning Stunts and For Richard it must be a great listen.

Hi Munch - Sorry, I missed this post and your very kind offer. If that's possible then it would be wonderful.

Many thanks, Rotf
