What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

cyrene,
almost bought "Solid" the other day, but was tempted by others (my allowance is tight these days with my recent DAC acquisition and a wee one due in several months). btw, your taste in jazz is impeccable.

Nothing simplifies life like Satie's piano.

Thanks fella!
Solid was quite pricey when I got hold of it due to it being on the Connoisseur series. It is a very good album though. As far as Green goes though, Idle Moments is still the winner IMO.
Have fun!

Graham - I think the individual albums are better. I'll have a listen when I get home and confirm.

The last few tracks were a lot better than the first ones.
