What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

It's OK musically better than their 1st effort IMO.Sheffield version of cheeky cockney acccent grates a bit too much for me.I suspect I am not with the target audience parameters.

Ryan, try the PT Web Site - it has a link to listen to exerts from Fear of a Blank Planet also there is PT myspace. I'll let you make up your own mind, but they sound like Cathedral meeting the Ozric Tentacles to me and I like both those groups.

Neither do I, but always liked Marriott/Lane when the Faces were small.

ROTF,
thanks.....I'm a big Cathedral fan and the doom stuff generally, but not heard much Ozric Tentacles although a mate is heavily into them.

I have to say that i was mightly disappointed with the last Cathedrallp.

But will check out PT
