What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)
Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005
Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.
So, what are you listening to right now?

(currently revisiting Joachim Kühn / Majid Bekkas / Ramon Lopez - which is a grower...)

How bad is maxwell's silver hammer!
How was it ever allowed on this otherwise excellent album?

Yes, I agree, it's as bad as Ob-La-Di-Ob-La-Da on the White Album...

Last night I was driving back from Edinburgh coming across the Dava Moor with the sun starting to set after a gorgeous sunny day listening to Elgar's - Nimrod on the radio. The piece of music finished exactly as I pulled up at my front door.
You couldn't ask for anything better.

Beautiful. Not a place to break down in the winter months, though!
