What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

I recently saw Bill Frisell in Chicago. It was a real treat. Is this disc any special?

I also like the first disc as well.
This album brings back a lot of memories.
I would like to get a hold of the original US release as 180g reissues sounds like an arse.

Shalom Haim!
I was a little doubtful as i did not like the last ECM Motian's work but this one is good.
Listened only a couple of times and something is comin' up from the surface.
I'll be back to you as soon i'll fix my pc mail!
Cheers!

Richard, ewemon,

I think the postage would be £3-£4. I will check my receipt from the Porcupine Tree - Deadwing (2CD) I ordered last year. Worth it I would say for the sound quality you will enjoy.

Like it a lot, Stefan. The music as well as Mitzi's playing are exceptional.

I hope you are very careful with all the fragile ceramic around the house..

Playing now, before bedtime:

Gian,

Thanks for the info. I will give the disc a listen.

I think we compared before the reliability of PC mail delivery versus homing pigeons before...

Have a good night,
