What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)
Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005
Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.
So, what are you listening to right now?

There are some songs one can never hear too often, "(I don't want to go to) Chelsea" definitely being one for me.
masterful album

Danilo Rea is combining jazz and opera in his brilliant piano playing, improvising on melodies of Puccini, Verdi, Mascagni, Saint Saens, Bizet and Bernstein.
Lirico arrived a week ago and I have been playing it so far every day.

Right now, something meditative.

So do I, but my wife really hates it, so I have to put it on when she's out along with my Jonny Cash, which she similarly hates!
