What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

One of my all time favourite albums.

Great album. I always thought that The Pixies were better than Nirvana. That's not to say that Nirvana weren't good, but The Pixies were more groundbreaking for me.

Indeed I do think it's time the "great albums" thread was troubled with a Pixies album, bus as it's 2am I'll tell you what I am listening to at the moment and do the needful later.

A Pixies album or perhaps two maybe.

At 9:08 I am listening to Ray Davies-Other People's Lives. Very good.

It is very good. I have read that a vinyl pressing is in the offing. Last year's Live at the Fillmore East is also to be pressed by Classic Records.
