What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)
Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005
Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.
So, what are you listening to right now?

Nothing.
System down because of a bad storm with a lightning every second.
Never saw something like this.
Is it the punishment for my little round faces?

Hope you enjoy the Allmans disc. Saw one that went on ebay recently for 30 squid. Usual US auction finishing in the middle of the night. Couldn't believe it.
www.cdjapan.co.jp direct from Japan. Great site for new release Japanese discs.
Thanks for the site.
It may have been me that got that mfsl allmans - I won mine for $72.
I really cant wait to hear how much better it is than the other ones.

gianluigi - nice to see some Bark Psychosis love on the forum. Dustsucker is an excellent album. Graham Sutton has started on the follow up, but warns us not to hold our breath - he's a very slow worker.

Rust velvet and soft iron.
I like it a lot!
Do you have some stuff by Graham?
I'd like to know a little further from a listener.
Thanks a lot!

re:RUSH:-
They did play something from nearly every album on R30.I hope they have better sound at Wembley this time.I am prepared to be disappointed though as I think it's the venue and not the bands so much.

It was Ha!!!! Ha!!!!! as I had a bid on the auction as well. If you end up not liking it then i will take it off your hands for the price you paid.
By the way the Allmans Idlewild South is coming on on MFSL. You can pre- order from Jonifan on eBay or try this link
http://www.musicdirect.com/products/detail.asp?sku=CMF769
It is sure to be a future investment.
and not forgetting this is what I am currently listening to
