What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

Something to match warm air and a very low sun in the sky.

out of interest hows her voice... the marketing on her features has tended to mean I have discounted her as a bit image before content which may be my loss..

Sun streaming in, family nipped out, wine open and playing this LOUD. Bliss, and it's nearly as old as me!

Australian record label Rajon Records released a compilation of Donovan's songs ranging from 1964 to 1976 as a three disc set titled The Great Donovan. The Great Donovan is in fact Donovan's 1992 box set Troubadour: The Definitive Collection 1964-1976 spread out over three discs with different packaging.

Listened to disc 2 and 3 tonight.

I'd almost forgotton how enjoyable Donovan Leitch can be.

Great choice there Graham, if you really like it, and want a bit more SQ - maybe consider buying the japanese version - for a bit more tempo though, I would highly recommend her live in paris album - superb.
