What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

Hi Gary!
Yes, Knopfler knows how to do it!
And it takes me back to my Fender days!

Dino Saluzzi's 'Kultrum'. A recent discovery from 1983 - he sings and plays persussion and flute, as well as the bandoneon of more recent records.

Yes you're right - it fits perfectly "da da da da da da da da da da da" is the opening line to Irk The Purists.

Just got this this morning. Not my usual listening pleasure and I'm not sure if i like it either. Contempory modern jazz, excellently played but it might just be a little too 'out there' for me. Will keep persevering with it though.
