What are you listening to right now? (VOL I)

Posted by: Tam on 06 June 2005

Anyway, to kick things off, I'm currently, and probably for most of the rest of this week, listening to Radio 3's Beethoven Experience. They're doing one of the piano concertos at the moment and (number 2 with Glenn Gould). Anyway, the experience thing probably needs its own thread, but, even on this cheapo radio it's proving fairly enjoyable.

So, what are you listening to right now?

The Classic Records vinyl re-issue. They really do make very good records.

After enduring the Seven Ages of Rock on BBC2 tonight - (it was terrible) - I thought time for the anti-dote to stadium rock so I dug this out and it sounds rather good.

Ryan Adams and the Cardinal "Live Bootleg - Town Hall, New York City December 4, 2006"

The first night of a three-night stand. Over the three nights, a unique set-list each night, no song repeated. Not many would/could do that.

Good morning Munch!
Well the record is very good!
The king of skiffle Donegan (rip) and Barber swing very good together while Morrison put the glue in it.
A very nice album with a lot of fun tunes!
Go for it!
Cheers!

Morrison - Donegan - Barber

A true supergroup - I bet they were putting on the agony, putting on the style Smile

Note to self: Add to records to seek out.
